Brother Morauer is a 32 Degree Mason who was raised 15 June 2002 at Gainesville 41. Bro. Kurt has served as Chairman of the Grounds and Facilities Committee for 4 years, and as Chairman of the Masonic Education Committee.

Bro. Kurt is a local business owner and has been heavily involved in local organizations such as Gainesville Youth Build and Stop Children Cancer. He is active in local educational issues through his involvement in the SFCC Construction Education Advisory Committee, SBAC Construction Advisory Committee and other educational groups. He is also a member of the Alachua County Chamber of Commerce.

Kurt resides in Gainesville with his wife and 2 children
